Dancing on the Waterfront
Tuesday evenings at Georgetown Waterfront Park.
Two weeks left to join Dancing on the Waterfront summer series at 3300 Water Street in Georgetown.
The free outdoor dance classes take place Tuesday evenings in Georgetown Waterfront Park, where participants of all ages and skill levels gather to embrace the joy of dancing. Every week, a DJ will spin a mix of music, blending various genres and beats. From salsa to square dancing, bachata, country line dancing and kizomba, you’ll get to try an array of dance styles.
July 23: Latin and African Dance Night with Stephen Jackson, DOTW Instructor. (Salsa and bachata instruction is from 6-7 pm, followed by unguided social dancing – including salsa, bachata, kizombo, and zouk – from 7-9pm.)
July 30: Square Dancing with DC Lambda Squares. (An instructor will guide the group from 6-9 pm.)
