Join the Georgetown BID, Trees for Georgetown, and the City Tavern Club for a Georgetown Tree Forum on Wednesday, May 15 from 8:30 am – 10:00 am at City Tavern Club, 3206 M Street in Georgetown.
Hear a discussion about the challenges facing Georgetown trees – tackling enhancement, protection, and preservation in a changing climate. The panel of tree professionals will be moderated by Georgetown BID Director of Public Space Operations Matt Millage, and includes: Matt Lehtonen – Urban Forester, Urban Forestry Division, DDOT; Keith Pitchford – Owner/Founder, Tree Matrix; Jake Hendee – Board Certified Master Arborist, Smithsonian Institution; and Robert Shaut – Director of Tree Operations, Casey Trees.
Doors open at 8:30 am for coffee and tea.
