gorjana Opening in Georgetown
California jewelry company, gorjana “inspired by the natural beauty of Southern California” opens in Georgetown.
California-based jewelry brand gorjana will open two local stores this month, one in Georgetown at 3029 M Street and another at 4810 Bethesda Avenue in Bethesda, MD.
Founded in Laguna Beach in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Jason and Gorjana Reidel (both former models), offers a variety of handmade pieces, including what it calls layering sets and power gemstones, ranging from $850 diamond necklaces to $20 stud earrings.
Earlier this year, gorjana partnered with Fitbit Inc. on a new fashionable bracelet that also functions as a wellness tracker.
In a statement, the Reidels said Greater Washington is one of the brand’s top regions for online sales, which prompted the search for a physical presence.
Fifteen of gorjana's 21 current brick-and-mortar locations are in California, but it has added a presence on the East Coast with stores in New York City and a location coming soon to Boston.
