Step into a thrilling world of spies, spirits, and secrets and celebrate a sisterhood of vintage espionage in an immersive in-person experience showcasing the role wine and spirits played in the day-to-day operations of two CIA field officers on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Join a spy, a chef, and a sommelier for Vintage Espionage: A Sisterhood of Spies, Spirits, and Secrecy from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at 1310 Kitchen & Bar.
First, enjoy a 45-minute Georgetown walking tour focusing on women who played a role in intelligence operations during World War II, as well as women who impacted the trajectory of men in the world of espionage.
Next, take part in a blind tasting of four old and new world vintage wines, enjoy a charcuterie and cheese board curated by 1310 Chef and Owner Jenn Crovato, and hear from a former CIA officer who will teach you about the core functions of an intelligence operative to spot, assess, develop, recruit, and handle human sources.
